CLOSURE OF MIA IMMIGRATION COURT (Not Krome or BTC)

As you have probably guessed by the news this morning, appropriations for operation of the federal government were not agreed upon by Congress overnight and federal shutdown procedures are now being implemented.  Locally, the Miami Immigration Court is now closed until further notice.  Due to the nature of their mission administering to a detainee population however, the Krome Immigration Court and the Broward Transitional Center remain open with normal operations.

During the closure, filings can be received at the Miami Immigration Court by mail and any emergency legal matter, you may contact the Court at 305-808-9440, 305-789-4261 or 305-789-4270 during normal business hours.  Please understand that the Court is closed however and not staffed to address routine questions or concerns.  Hearings falling on days of the shutdown will be reset by mail.

Thank you for your patience during this time.
